THE APPLICATION OF AQUATIC HERBICIDES IS ONE METHOD OF CONTROLLING INVASIVE AQUATIC PLANTS in Florida waters. Aquatic herbicides are plant-killing chemicals. They are applied directly to aquatic and wetland plants or to the water or soil in which they grow.
The purpose of this web page is to provide links to labels and material safety data sheets for some of the many aquatic herbicides available. Beware, these labels and MSDSs may not be the most recent versions. (These are believed to be current in January, 2005.) Consult product websites and make sure to read product labels before application.
For more information about aquatic herbicides and their use in Florida, go to this page of this web site.
