Non-native in Florida
Plumbago is a flowering, perennial shrub. It is present in Florida, Hawaii,
Louisiana, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands (Kartesz, 1999). It is native to South Africa and escaped from cultivation.
In Florida it is found- rarely- in Hillsborough, Brevard, Martin and Lee counties (Wunderlin, 1998).
