Non-Native in Florida
Caribbean trumpet treeis an erect shrub/small tree with palmately compound leaves and bright yellow flowers. It is found in disturbed sites in Palm Beach and Broward County, as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands(Wunderlin, 1998).
Caribbean Trumpetflower is native to the West Indies.
The UF/IFAS Assessment lists plants according to their invasive status in Florida.
